Randy Davison

Randy has over 25 years of insurance experience. His career started as a commercial lines primary underwriter for the Tokio Fire and Marine Insurance Company where he learned the fundamentals of commercial underwriting property, casualty and workers compensation. He joined National Reinsurance’s casualty facultative department in the early 90’s and quickly rose to the rank of branch manager in their flagship NYC branch. In 1997, Randy opened up the Philadelphia casualty facultative office for the St. Paul Reinsurance company and shortly thereafter expanded the products offered to include programs. After his success in establishing the branch, Randy was selected by senior management at St. Paul Re to represent them and expand the treaty relationship with AIG’s reinsurance department through their participation on the Compulsory Cession Agreement.

In 2002, Randy joined Sirius America Insurance Company where he developed new programs and managed a diverse portfolio. From 2006 to 2010 he broadened his program management leadership experience and responsibilities by managing four teams of department representatives for the QBE Insurance Company. Torus Insurance Company recruited Randy in 2010 to create a program department. In the course of three years, he established the department, gained recognition in the insurance industry’s program segment as a viable market, managed nine teams of department representatives and generated nine programs.
